As part of World Maths Day, Year 6 have been creating tessellation based art in the style of Wassily Kandinsky.
In Year 6 we’ve been learning new rugby skills linked to throwing and catching.
Year 6 considered a range of primary and secondary sources, considering who was responsible for the sinking of The Titanic.
Year 5 have had a magnificent World Book Day, we’ve looked at the book ‘There’s a wall in the middle of the book’. We’ve designed our own characters from nothing more than some art equipment and wooden spoons and got involved in some online lessons… However we wanted to show you all how fabulous we look. 
Year 6 and Reception had some buddy time! They enjoyed sharing stories together, with our older children reading out loud using tone and expression.
Year 1 have been looking at Google Earth and locating London Landmarks. They were able to discuss features of a variety of famous landmarks such as, The London Eye, Tower Bridge and The Shard.
In our dance lessons Year 6 have been looking at Hip Hop dancing. Looking at how we can sequence our routine in relation to the music.
In Year 6 music we have been looking at creating our own compositions to accompany specific story lines in a film.
