Welcome to Bede Burn Primary School

26th March 2026Mr G Mcintosh

Welcome to Our School Community

A very warm welcome to our school website. As the Executive Headteacher, I am immensely proud to lead a community where we don’t just teach—we ignite possibilities.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple yet powerful vision: Think Big… Dream Big… Go For It! We believe that every child enters our doors with limitless potential. Our mission is to ensure that their primary school years are a launchpad for a lifetime of success, curiosity, and joy. We encourage our pupils to look beyond the horizon, imagine the extraordinary, and have the courage to turn those dreams into reality.

Whole School – Personal Development- Aspirations Day – 6.6.2025

7th June 2025Helen Smith

Aspirations Day 2025 excelled all expectations as, once again, an exceedingly wide range of visitors came into school to inspire and ignite our children in Bede Burn!

There was everything from Police and Ambulance crews, to Golf and Fitness Instructors, Nissan representatives to an Animation Company owner,  an engineer and even a published author who is actually a part of our Bede Burn family!

Rounding off the day the children were entertained by a fantastic magic and balloon show by part time lifeguard and full time magician, Darren Bonas (Mr Twister).

A huge thank you to all our visitors and to Mr Ferraro for giving us all another fantastic day to remember!
