This week in Science, Year 5 completed a practical investigation into the relationship between mass and weight. We recorded our results using a table and presented then in a line graph. Using a line of best fit we found a positive correlation between mass and weight. We discussed outliers in our results and repeat testing to ensure accuracy.
Year 6 were delighted to take part in the Mini Great North Run, look who we met at the finish line! He must have just beaten us there.
This week in Computing, Year 4 have been discussing what respect means and why it is important to be respectful online. We discussed why we might, or might not, trust someone online.
Today candidates delivered their manifestos to the class and then we visited the polling station to vote for our school councillor, preparing for life in Modern Day Britain, democracy in action!
This afternoon in Music we have been learning all about body percussion in Year 4! We have learnt all about tempo, dynamics, texture and structure. We have been making and performing our own sequences using boom, clap, click and snapping sounds 
Using our Real PE scheme, Year 6 have been studying about Health & Fitness, in our most recent lesson we looked at sending and receiving.
In History, Year 6 have been learning topic specific vocabulary about our Topic, Maafa:
Year 6 had to follow recipes to create their own wholemeal bread, we then got the chance to try it and compare it to pre-made examples from the shops, ours was delicious!
Year 6 loved seeing democracy in action, candidates delivered a manifesto to their peers in an attempt to generate votes and then it was off to the polling station in to the hall. Find out soon who was elected as our school councillors.
