Year 3 have been looking at Human Skeletons and what the different bones are called. Children came to board to attach the name of the different bones and then independently identified these on their sheets.
This afternoon Y4 and Y1 visited St. Peter’s church to hear all about why the Bible is important to Christians. We discussed how the Bible is used in acts of worship and spoke about how the Bible has an impact on Christians lives.
Today in science we have been investigating the four different types of teeth!

Today our Year 4 superstars performed an Anglo-Saxon play! 
Some children spent time reading the script, whilst our directors gave out stage directions! 
Today our Year 4 artists having been discussing colour effects and warm/cool colours. We looked at “Café Terrace at Night” by Vincent Van Gogh and painted our own colour wheels using the warm and cool colours we could see in the picture! 
Today in DT we have been exploring diagrams and prototypes, and discussing how some food packaging is produced using a net! We designed and made our own food net packaging.
What better way to spend time than reading to our buddies in Reception? Year 6 had a lovely time developing their fluency and expression as they read stories with their friends.
Today Year 5 enjoyed breakfast with a book which gave us all a fantastic chance to discuss our favourite genres, authors and titles while enjoying some delicious toast and juice.
This week, Year 5 experienced democracy in action as they presented their manifesto to the class in a bid to win school council votes. We then took to the polling station to cast our votes and elect our new school councillors for the upcoming year.
Today, year 6 had breakfast with a book, a lovely chance to read for pleasure, enjoying stories with juice & toast!
