Year 6 continued their Environmental Art Topic by creating 3d models of sea creatures using recycling materials.

Every Friday at 3pm the children review and recommend the books they are reading to their peers.
Year 5 have been using pen, paint and charcoal to add perspective, light and shade to our drawings today as part of our Line, Light and Shadow topic.

Reception had so much fun participating in all of our World Book Day activities on Thursday! We looked at the book ‘Bog Baby’ and created our very own bluebell woods pictures, we drew our own Bog Babys from a description and made special potion to help Bog Baby get better! ✨
On the afternoon, we all enjoyed hot chocolates and stories at ‘Starbooks’ what a fun filled day!

As part of Year 2’s new art topic ‘Flower Head’, we have been looking at the shape, form, colour and pattern of different flowers. In today’s lesson we have been sketching them.

In computing, Year 2 have been changing the effect of an image using the ipads.

Year 3 had a wonderful World Book Day!


Year 5 have had a busy day so far for World Book Day! We have enjoyed stories and snacks for breakfast, followed by a whole school story time. We took a visit to Starbooks after making our own Starbooks cups, we enjoyed a hot chocolate whilst reading our favourite books. How amazing are our costumes?!

Yesterday, Year 2 were exploring odd and even numbers using counters and ten frames.
