Just before half term, year 6 celebrated the end of SATs, with a well deserved trip to Marine Park.

Fun in the rain! Year 6 completed a Pokémon maths scavenger hunt to practise a variety of maths reasoning problems.

On Tuesday, Year 4 had an amazing time at The Great North Museum. They experienced working as an Egyptologist and examined different evidence to discover some of the secrets to mummification.
On Monday, Year 5 went to Boldon Cricket Club where we participated in the Countdown Cricket tournament. Check out some of our in action photos!
On Friday, Reception went on a great adventure to Edinburgh Zoo. We enjoyed the metro, train, bus and not to mention seeing all the amazing animals. We caught a glimpse of Addy the new baby sloth and we were so excited to sneak a peek at David Attenbara, the baby capybara! After waving goodbye to all the animals, we enjoyed our McDonalds on the journey home, with very tired legs and teachers too!
