Our lovely Jack in Y1 decided to use his own time to make sure our local environment was clean and tidy by litter-picking close to our school.
Thanks Jack for looking after our environment!

As part of our science topic ‘Seasonal Changes’ and our Art topic ‘Rays and Sunrays’ we have created some brilliant seasonal paintings, rain gauges, wind socks and even had a go at being weather reporters!

We have received the following email from the ‘Love, Amelia’ charity that we would love to share with you about Alice in Y1!
Alice has been visiting the ‘Love, Amelia’ charity with her Mam, Jen, and demonstrated such kindness and compassion to other children who are without the luxuries she is fortunate enough to have. Alice has helped to sort through toys and clothes with her Mam and has even drawn some beautiful pictures and cards to give to the boys and girls we help to make them smile. Alice has also previously sorted through her own clothes, shoes and toys and donated them for other children to use. Alice is such a star and has made us all smile when she has been with us and we wanted to share this with her school, to which she is a credit.
Y6 enjoyed weaving Indigenous dream-catchers as part of their Frozen Kingdom topic.
This week, Year 1 started a brand new PE unit ‘Cognitive Skills’. They had lots of fun in the lesson working on following simple instructions and balance. They moved around the hall like trains, listening out for instructions to determine how fast or slow they should go, making train noises as they went.
Today, Year 2 looked at maps keys and considered why they are important. We then put our new knowledge of map keys into practise and drew our own key and map to go with it.
This week in Forest School, Year 3 have enjoyed challenging their skills during Archery.
