Year 6 had a fantastic afternoon celebrating their last Christmas at Bede Burn.
Our Year 4 class have explored how we can change the volume of sounds using different instruments 
What an amazing morning our year 4 class had! We loved seeing our St. Oz pen pals and spent the morning watching the polar express, drinking hot chocolates and doing our Christmas crafts 
We had an amazing STEM day in Y4 making our yarn Christmas trees A big thank you to all our parents for buying our Bede Burn bestsellers!!!
We had a very interesting discussion with our very own Mrs. Smith today. Year 4 prepared their own questions and asked Mrs. Smith all about why Jesus is known by Christians as being the light of the world.
As part of our DT topic, we have been learning about different food groups. We planned and created our very own healthy, balanced Taco. We had great fun learning about the food groups and enjoyed eating the finished Taco.
Year 5 loved our trip to the library this morning where we enjoyed a story read by Catherine. As you can see by our faces we were captivated and thoroughly enjoyed this. We then picked a book to bring back to school and read in independent reading time.
WOW! What a joy it was to join in the first ever Rock Steady Concert at Bede Burn Primary School. Children have been working very hard over the term to perform songs for their classmates and parents. Renditions of popular songs were belted out by the acts including, singers, guitarists, drummers and keyboard players.
Thank you to all of the parents and carers who joined us to watch the Year 5 class assembly on the Shang Dynasty, it was great to hear Year 5 sharing everything they have learned across the project.
Year 6 had a lovely morning at Openzone @ The Word, using green screens we created virtual Christmas Cards.
