Some of our Year 4 class attended a hockey tournament this morning at Boldon School. The children had a lovely morning playing lots of games against different schools in the area.
Year 5 jetted off to Greece without ever leaving their classroom!
Our Year 4 scientists have been creating their own classification keys today using items they found around the classroom! They then presented their work to the rest of the class. Well done Year 4!
Year 4 spent the afternoon discussing forgiveness and performing a drama activity to the class. We spoke about feelings involved when forgiving someone, or being forgiven.

Today in Computing Year 4 have been understanding sequencing algorithms on a digital device.
It has been a busy first week back for Year 5 and Mr Hay. Lots of exciting things to learn and develop while some of our friends are at Thurston.
Year 4 used clay to make their very own Bankura Horse Sculpture! We enjoyed painting them in brown shades just like the terracotta horses that are produced in Panchura Village in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Year 4 had a lovely start to the week enjoying some poetry and pancakes.
