Year 2 had a fantastic morning at the library! We listened to some stories and then went off to read some of the library books independently before choosing our own book to borrow for school 
As part of our Coastline topic, Year 2 painted their own wave pictures. We painted a coastline and then used different strokes and techniques to create waves in the sea 
Reception had a lovely time tasting yummy pancakes in Tuesday whilst listening to Mr Wolf’s Pancakes. We have been colouring pancakes, making pancakes out of play dough and creating pancake faces using our cutting skills.
In DT last week, year 6 worked in groups to build strong bridges adding triangles to their construction. They used their knowledge from last week‘s lesson to start their structure with the strongest foundations adding triangles for strength.
Year Four had a fantastic afternoon on Tuesday at Jarrow Library! Catherine the librarian read two books to us. After that, we browsed the shelves and chose some books to bring back to school 📚
Year 4 began COOL afternoon with an online safety quiz to test our parents knowledge. After that, we showed off our Vista Art Gallery and challenged our parents to create their own landscape art, helping them with our knowledge! 
Mrs Smith came into Year 5 to share her wealth of knowledge all about what places of worship tell us for what Christians believe about God. Thank you Mrs Smith.
