- Year 5/6 had a fantastic morning at the South Tyneside Hockey Competition last week!! We came runners up and are through to the Tyne and Wearfinals. Check out our photos!

During science week, year 6 discussed how scientists work in teams and the reasons why this is advantageous, carrying out their own experiments with and without speaking to discover the benefits of effective communication.

This week in art, year 6 researched a variety of environmental artists, creating pic collages of their work.

Year 5 practised competitive games yesterday afternoon in Hockey in preparation for the upcoming Y5/6 Hockey competition. Check out some of our in action photos!
Year 6 had a fabulous book day, enjoying breakfast with a book, a world book day quiz, house activities, fun in the hall with their buddies and activities based around their World Book Day book.
On Friday, Reception visited Bill Quay Farm to start their new topic ‘Ready Steady Grow’. We fed the pigs, petted the goats, stroked a rabbit and ferret and observed the alpacas, geese, ducks and emus. We then enjoyed our lunch on the cozy old double decker bus.
Reception enjoyed World Book Day today, we started the day with breakfast with a book and then we have shared stories in class, with our buddies and been in different house groups to share stories too

Y3 have had the best day for World Book Day! We enjoyed breakfast with a book and spent the afternoon doing lots of activities around our chosen book “The pebble in my pocket” 🪨🌋📚

Year 4 had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day! 📚We started the day with Breakfast with a Book, sharing stories together, then joined exciting activities with Mrs Richardson. The fun continued with live quizzes and some creative time designing our very own book covers.
