Last week, Year 4 continued their transition English sequence. To prepare to write our instructions on how to make beans on toast, Year 4 instructed Miss Lauder step by step to help her make beans on toast in the classroom. They were delicious! Well done Year 4.

In Year 1, as part of our computing topic “Technology Around Us”, we have been discussing the different parts of a computer and testing our knowledge by logging in and completing the puzzles.
Last Friday, year 6 had a lovely time reading and discussing stories with their reception buddies whilst enjoying some toast and juice.
Year 6 are starting their PE sessions with cross country running, aiming to work on stamina and endurance.

Year 6 have stared their Maafa history unit by researching a country in Africa.

In our first lesson for DT year 6 looked at a variety of processed foods, collecting data on ingredients, food colourings and preservatives and created a table of important information.

Year 5 had their second cross country lesson in P.E. this afternoon. We completed intervals and worked with a partner whilst focusing on keeping our head and focus forwards. We also practised running with a suitable pace whilst collaborating with our partner.

KS1 computing club started yesterday and what an amazing start everyone has made! We worked hard to log onto the Chromebooks and access the web! We then found the address bar and accessed paintz.app. We used this to practise digital drawing using cubism! Can you spot the sibling support going on? ❤️
