Our KS2 runners did brilliantly at the cross country competition on Thursday ! ♀️ Amazing effort, determination, and fantastic team spirit all round – well done everyone! ⭐
In Reception yesterday, as part of PE we were working on our gross motor skills.
Year 5 had another Cross Country lesson in P.E. on Tuesday. After warming up, we practised Fartlek training and partner running to help us to develop our pace ready for the Cross Country competition. We also discussed race tactics to help us when racing. Check out some of our in action photos!
Year Four conducted an investigation into the Anglo Saxon burial site, Sutton Hoo. They used the Chromebooks to research and create their own presentations which they will present to the class next week. Well done Year Four!
In week one, in KS1 computing club, we learnt how to login and create images and last week we found out how to write digitally. Today we started creating information texts about our favourite animals by combining the skills we’ve learnt so far! We even learnt how to use copy and paste!
Reception have been matching objects in Maths. We used some lovely vocabulary to explain our findings.

This week in PSHE, Year 2 have been talking about our feelings and the tools we can use to manage our feelings to make us feel better. We made our own tools to go in our tool boxes filled with all of the things that make us happy and help us to feel better if we ever feel upset or angry

This afternoon, Year Four had a very special visit from Revd Andrew from Jarrow and Simonside Parish. He spoke to us about the Bible, some of its parables and why it is such an important part of a Christian’s life. Year Four applied their Oracy skills by listening carefully and digging deeper through questioning.
