To find out how a torch really works Reception have been exploring circuits.
We built on the work in assembly by learning all about carbon monoxide. Y2 found out all about the symptoms of CO poisoning and how you can spot an unhealthy flame. We also learned about how a fire safely burns in a house and how chimney sweeps are still really essential, even in 2022!
Year 1 created their own poppies using a variety of materials. They learned all about Remembrance Day and enjoyed watching our Year 6 children in our special Remembrance Day assembly.
Years 1 – 6 listened to an important assembly to raise awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide. They all listened fantastically and learnt how to keep them and their families safe.
