Year 2 visited St Oswald’s for a morning in forest school. We enjoyed a maths hunting games and then toasted marshmallows on the fire.
Year 5 had an amazing afternoon at Gurdwara Siri Guru Singh Sabha.

Year 4 had a lovely but cold and wet afternoon in the Forest Garden. We looked at changes in environments and how these can impact on eco-systems and food webs.
Year 3 have been cooking ratatouille as part of our Eat Well Cook Well topic making sure we use plenty of fresh, healthy ingredients. We can’t wait to taste it!
Year 4 had a lovely afternoon at St Oswald’s church in Hebburn, we learned about how The Bible can be represented in lots of different ways and the different features of a church.
Reception had a lovely time exploring the nature garden and getting muddy!
Year 5 spent the afternoon planning, conducting and reviewing their investigations into water resistance.
Year 5 created their own machines in DT this week.

As part of Year 2’s topic ‘Sustainability’, they have been making their own compost and collecting the rubbish in the forest garden.
Year 4 had a lovely morning with some of our parents and carers. We love the chance to sit and enjoy a range of texts with some tasty snacks!
