Work, rest or play, we smile all day!
So lovely to be all back together again!
History project
Spring 1 ~ Toys and Games
We will be learning about the past through a study of toys and games, a great way to develop sequencing skills and build an early understanding of chronology. If you have any favourites to share with us we would really appreciate it.
Activities will include a workshop at the Discovery Museum ‘Lost in the Toy Museum’ with the opportunity to look at some old toys and a craft activity.
Imaginative Learning Project ~ Are We There Yet?
From bicycles in the past to looking at different types of transport this project will give the children lots of opportunities to explore how things move with lots of science experiments and creative activities. We will also be planning our own ‘Fantastic Journey’ using as many different types of transport as we can in one day!
Maths plus family equals fun!
Friday PE lessons in Reception.
We had an absolutely fantastic time in the Forest Garden with our buddies on Wednesday.
As well as a great talking point ‘Crazy Sock Day’ is a clever way to make sure the children come home in the right shoes after PE. Thank you for your support.
Can you spot yours?
We all love stories and know how important it is for children to share books at home so today Reception went to our school library.
We hope you are all enjoying reading the books they chose.
Our Forest Garden may not be the biggest but we had lots of fun exploring it today and even met a few of the creatures who live there.
