This week in cricket, year 6 combined all of the throwing, catching, batting, bowling and fielding skills that they have learnt over the past weeks in order to play a competitive game of cricket.
In week 5 of cricket, year 6 continued to practise their catching, batting and overarm bowling (with an added bounce before delivery.)

Last week in DT, Year 2 learnt how to do a running stitch as part of our topic “Cut, Stitch and Join”. We were so impressed with how fantastic Year 2 were at stitching!

Episode 2 – Interview with Miss Lauder and a very special guest
In PE this week, year 6, practised throwing over long distances, in readiness for fielding in cricket.
Year 6 had a fabulous and fun Number Day on Friday. Everyone had an unknown number taped to their backs and their challenge was to work collaboratively, without speaking or gesturing, to organise themselves in numerical order. They finished the day with a very exciting Mystery Box maths game.
