Year Six took part in their first Gymnastics lesson. They began by playing a game of ‘walk the plank’ to test their teamwork. After that, they practiced stance and posture. They finished the lesson by showing off some very tricky balancing skills!
Our KS2 runners did brilliantly at the cross country competition on Thursday ! ♀️ Amazing effort, determination, and fantastic team spirit all round – well done everyone! ⭐
Year 5/6 enjoyed their homework reward on Friday morning. We participated in various activities including colouring, outdoor games, Just Dance, crafts and games. We had a great morning!
Last Friday, year 6 school council candidates delivered their manifestos to the class. Lots of lovely ideas shared for actions they would like to achieve if elected.
Last Friday, year 6 had a lovely time reading and discussing stories with their reception buddies whilst enjoying some toast and juice.
Year 6 are starting their PE sessions with cross country running, aiming to work on stamina and endurance.

Year 6 have stared their Maafa history unit by researching a country in Africa.

In our first lesson for DT year 6 looked at a variety of processed foods, collecting data on ingredients, food colourings and preservatives and created a table of important information.

Year 5 had a fantastic time celebrating Diversity Day! The class toured different classrooms around the school, each transformed into a window to another culture. They explored the vibrant traditions of South Africa, discovered the rich history of Greece, experienced the beauty of China and learned all about life in Australia. A busy journey around the world – without even leaving the school!
