On Friday morning, Year 5 delivered their School Council manifestos to the rest of their class. We practised our Oracy skills and are looking forward to voting for our school councillors on Monday. Check out some of us in action!
Year 5/6 enjoyed their homework reward on Friday morning. We participated in various activities including colouring, outdoor games, Just Dance, crafts and games. We had a great morning!
Year 5 had their second cross country lesson in P.E. this afternoon. We completed intervals and worked with a partner whilst focusing on keeping our head and focus forwards. We also practised running with a suitable pace whilst collaborating with our partner.

Year 4 practised for Sports Day this week as part of our P.E. learning. We practised the various events including: egg and spoon, skipping, sack and hoop relay. Check out some of our in action photos!
Year 4 enjoyed their Djembe drumming session on Friday afternoon. We warmed up by playing elimination before practising our primary rhythm and ensuring we were using the correct volume. We then practised our crescendo and diminuendo; we practised playing using the correct rhythm to stay in time with the rest of our group. Check out some of our in action photos!
Year 4 had a very interesting visit to the Hancock Museum yesterday. We explored the Egyptian displays to further our knowledge of Ancient Civilisations before completing quizzes about Egyptians and cracking the codes using Egyptian Hieroglyphics. It was a great day!
Year 4 enjoyed their third Golf session this afternoon. We practised hitting the ball as far as possible whilst maintaining accuracy. Check out some of our action photos!


Year 4 have been making series circuits in their Science lessons. We first looked at the individual components that make up a circuit before making them in groups. We then investigated fixing our circuits to ensure there was a complete circuit and which materials conduct electricity to help complete the loop.
