Year 3 have been looking at Human Skeletons and what the different bones are called. Children came to board to attach the name of the different bones and then independently identified these on their sheets.
So this happened today!! Scarlett got her lovely locks cut! Doesn’t she look beautiful! She didn’t just get a hair cut 💇♀️ but did it in order to raise money for the princess trust!! Well done Scarlett! We are so proud of you!
Year Two blew their adults socks off this week with an amazing class assembly!! They shared their learning across the year… spoke about people who had inspired them… and reduced everyone to tears with their rendition of ‘When I grow up!’. Well done Year Two!

Just a couple more from Year 2 from our art topic ‘Flower Head’ as we investigated colour and pattern and made our own flowers.
We have had great fun and developed many of our DT skills and the process in order to make Beach Huts linked to our topic Geography ‘Coastline’. I’m sure you’ll agree that these are really impressive. Well Done Year Two!






Over the last two weeks Year Two have been really busy learning how to light fires and the safety behind this, making dens and chilling out in them and toasted marshmallows – yummy!
Andrew has been wanting to fly for a while and yesterday he got his chance with Granda as the pilot!! They went round Penshaw Monument, over Seaham Harbour and saw the coast at South Shields before heading back to the airfield!
