Y4 – National Glass Centre visit – 27.2.24

We had a fabulous day visiting Sunderland Glass centre! We loved spending the morning conducting our own experiments 🧪🧫
We also did an amazing glassmaking session where we used our art skills to create a landscape image and learnt all about the glass fusing techniques. We can’t wait to see the final results! 🧑🏻‍🔬

Key Stage 2 – Nissan Workshop – 26.2.24

KS2 were lucky enough to have some lovely visitors from Nissan in to visit us today, each class completed a workshop where we learned about the Nissan factory and got involved in designing and building our own cars.

Year 4 looked at how we could use Yes/No questions to classify animals that we might find in our nature garden, we considered the different characteristics that different animal groups might have.

Our class had a fabulous time to talk day! We spent the morning researching and debating whether we thought water was precious. We then learnt a poem to perform to the rest of our class! Well done Year 4!
