KS2 – Girls’ Football 8.3.24

15th March 2024Iain Usher
A group of girls from Years 3 and 4 took part in a Disney Football Festival last Friday to celebrate International Women’s Day and played teams from Gateshead, Washington, Sunderland and Newcastle. For some, this was their first time ever playing football and they worked great together showing teamwork, courage, determination and sportsmanship, resulting in them winning two of their four games and drawing another!
I really look forward to watching these girls progress as I’m sure they’ll be massive Bede Burn stars of the future! Well done girls!
