Mrs Smith was over the moon to see these two visitors to her office this afternoon to show off their fabulous artwork depicting the devastation that plastic pollution is causing to sea creatures. Alfie has made a whale and the clear bottle used is filled with small shards of plastic showing the impact that small pieces of plastic are having to the fish and whale population not just on the outside but on the inside of their bodies.
Beth’s artwork was of a jellyfish. As you can see her jellyfish looks extremely sad. One of its tentacles has been intercepted by a piece of plastic and this is impacting on the jellyfish’s ability to freely float through the ocean.
Well done! Some super artwork and great descriptions making links to climate change! Mrs Smith was very impressed!
Y6 parents were invited into school on Wednesday afternoon (8th February) to Come Observe Our Learning linked to Safer Internet Day.
