Last week, Year 4 continued their transition English sequence. To prepare to write our instructions on how to make beans on toast, Year 4 instructed Miss Lauder step by step to help her make beans on toast in the classroom. They were delicious! Well done Year 4.

Year 3 have had a fantastic diversity day! They have thoroughly enjoyed visiting different countries around the world and learning all about a range of cultures. A very fun day!

Year 3 have enjoyed creating and exploring branching databases in our computing lessons this week. They have created fantastic questions and answers for their partners to solve!

In R.E yesterday, Year 3 enjoyed working in groups to identify what they could see, notice and wonder about Hindu shrines. There were some fantastic answers!
Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed our cricket session yesterday morning! We definitely have some natural cricket players in our class, who showed incredible skills and abilities. Well done Year 3!

Year 3 had a wonderful time on Thursday celebrating VE Day with the rest of the school! What a fantastic day it was!

On Friday afternoon, Year 3 explored the outdoors to find magnetic and non-magnetic materials. The children used their magnets to tests different materials on our yard. We then had a discussion about why these materials might be magnetic or non-magnetic!

Yesterday, Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their computing lesson. They focused on sequences and exploring commands in Scratch.
