On World Maths day Reception found out how useful ‘maths’ is and had lots of fun long the way!

Monty wanted his mam to share his adventures this weekend. Rockpooling he found some gobie’s that were trapped & he rescued them and let them free back into the sea 😊

Reception really enjoyed their first ‘Little Dribblers’ session impressing coaches Joey and Jamie from Foundation of Light with their skills.
Reception have been finding out what makes a rainbow. 
We then experimented dissolving skittles to make our own rainbow patterns.

Yesterday The Guthrie family climbed 931 metres to the summit of skiddaw 
That’s just 47 metres off one of the mountains we will do for our 3 peak challenge that we are doing with some of the teachers from Bede Burn.
We enjoyed a lovely picnic at the top

Issac and Joseph are having great fun on their holidays.
Last Thursday we went swimming and we bumped into lovely Tyler from year 6 who is Georgia’s buddy!! Well the bond between them is unreal!! Tyler helped Georgia and showed her how to swim, found a floaty for her and later on while we were drying our hair , Tyler offered to brush and dry Georgia’s hair!! He is so sweet, this buddy idea creates some strong friendships!!! 😊😊
