A big thank you to Morrisons, Jarrow for letting us explore their fruit aisle, finding out where different fruits grow and for providing us with our rainbow of fruits to try.
Year 6 really enjoyed hunting for mini beasts in our Forest Garden with their Reception class buddies as part of their Ugly Bug Ball Day on Friday.
In Reception we have been sharing lots of stories about beanstalks, we had great fun acting the stories and adding some ideas of our own.

Wow, what a fantastic journey! Reception embarked on an adventure this week when they walked to Jarrow Metro Station, rode the metro to South Shields and walked to the Customs House to watch Sing 2.
They then caught the ferry back across the River Tyne and finally, another journey on the metro before arriving back to school.
All adults who accompanied the children said how fantastic they were! The children loved it!!
