Reception had huge fun celebrating Roald Dahl Day and even made some Willy Wonka inspired chocolate!
This week Community Support Officers Jamie and Jane came to school to talk to Reception about their job and how to stay safe.
Reception loved My Many Coloured Days by Dr Zeuss and worked hard to change it into Our Many Coloured World to reflect the Environment theme.
Our Reception children loved having a parent or their buddy to join them for school lunch yesterday.
They also joined us for a quick stay and play in their classroom.

Yesterday The Guthrie family climbed 931 metres to the summit of skiddaw 
That’s just 47 metres off one of the mountains we will do for our 3 peak challenge that we are doing with some of the teachers from Bede Burn.

Issac and Joseph are having great fun on their holidays.
Last Thursday we went swimming and we bumped into lovely Tyler from year 6 who is Georgia’s buddy!! Well the bond between them is unreal!! Tyler helped Georgia and showed her how to swim, found a floaty for her and later on while we were drying our hair , Tyler offered to brush and dry Georgia’s hair!! He is so sweet, this buddy idea creates some strong friendships!!! 😊😊
Yesterday the Chontos family has a great day making memories at Boldon Lodge! Doesn’t it look fab!
