We listened to some amazing manifestos in Year 3 on Friday, ahead of our school council elections next week! ️
Year 3 have enjoyed creating and exploring branching databases in our computing lessons this week. They have created fantastic questions and answers for their partners to solve!

This week we have been focusing on developing our posture during our Oracy sessions. Year 3/4 were tasked with balancing a book on their head whilst maintaining good posture through keeping our shoulders back and down and our torso up straight. We enjoyed the challenge and competed against each other to see how far we could travel whilst keeping the book balanced.

Year 3/4 had a lovely start to the morning with eating pancakes and sharing poetry books as part of our reading for pleasure. We enjoyed sharing these poems between the two classes.

Josie went to Crimdon Dene for a couple of days. Her and sister Una splashed in the North Sea, went to Tweddle animal farm and made tiger themed pumpkins. It looks like you are having a great time Josie!

Lola and Harrison’s have had so much half term fun already. They have been on a Pumpkin trail at Plessey Woods, to a Halloween party, to Bath bomb making at Lush, made Haunted Houses at the glass centre and Harrison has enjoying the match!! Full of busy but looks so much fun!

Look what Lucas has been up to at home! He has built a fully working hydraulic arm. He wanted to show his teachers and friends what he has done. Well done Lucas this is super STEM home learning.
George and Tom had a great time picking some pumpkins ready to carve for Halloween!
