This afternoon in Music we have been learning all about body percussion in Year 4! We have learnt all about tempo, dynamics, texture and structure. We have been making and performing our own sequences using boom, clap, click and snapping sounds 




Look what Lucas has been up to at home! He has built a fully working hydraulic arm. He wanted to show his teachers and friends what he has done. Well done Lucas this is super STEM home learning.

Today in maths, Year 3 have been using concrete resources (base 10 and place value grids) to work out 1, 10 or 100 more or less. We learned about ‘exchanging’ and demonstrated exchanges using the resources.

It’s been a busy summer as we moved house, explored the new area and found a bountiful, blackberry bush nearby. They loved making smoothies and ice lollies to enjoy in the heat!
