This morning our Y4 class have enjoyed breakfast with a book! 
We enjoyed juice and toast while we read our books and discussed all about the author.

In science Year 4 have been exploring sounds and observing how we can change the volume and pitch. We have looked for visible vibrations on our drums and also listened for environmental sounds outside.
This week in Art we have been using a range of warm and cool colours to create a foreground/background effect in our paintings. We are all now pros in colour theory! Well done Year 4! 

On Friday in DT, our Y4 chefs were making fresh, healthy snacks. We designed and made our own fruit skewers, fruity popcorn and even made our own hummus with veggie sticks! Fresh food, good food! 



This afternoon Y4 and Y1 visited St. Peter’s church to hear all about why the Bible is important to Christians. We discussed how the Bible is used in acts of worship and spoke about how the Bible has an impact on Christians lives.
Today in science we have been investigating the four different types of teeth!
We all tasted some apple to identify which of our teeth we used 
Today our Year 4 superstars performed an Anglo-Saxon play!
Some children spent time reading the script, whilst our directors gave out stage directions! 
Today our Year 4 artists having been discussing colour effects and warm/cool colours. We looked at “Café Terrace at Night” by Vincent Van Gogh and painted our own colour wheels using the warm and cool colours we could see in the picture! 

Today in DT we have been exploring diagrams and prototypes, and discussing how some food packaging is produced using a net! We designed and made our own food net packaging.
This week in Computing, Year 4 have been discussing what respect means and why it is important to be respectful online. We discussed why we might, or might not, trust someone online.
