As part of our English instructions topic, Year 5 have been discussing “How to spread Christmas cheer.” We watched some scenes from Elf whilst drinking hot chocolates. We spoke about the importance of kindness and spreading joy just like Buddy the elf does!

Year 5 had a fantastic afternoon representing the school at the South Tyneside School Sports Network Indoor Athletics Competition. The children got to compete in a range of track and field events.

Y5 – Stargazing experience – 11.11.24

Our Y5 stargazers spent an unforgettable night under the stars! Telescopes in hand, we were able to see Saturn, Jupiter, shooting stars and the milky way. The Moon was at waxing crescent at a distance of 237,000 miles away when the children viewed it. We will never forget this memorable experience.
