Year 6 enjoyed a call with Santa direct from the North Pole!
As part of our Christmas Around The World Day, Year 6 have been learning how Christmas is celebrated in Hungary!
Y6 took part in a learning exhibition to learn about the treatment of Jews during Hitler’s time in power. They listened respectfully to the content that was delivered by the Holocaust Museum.

Y6 enjoyed designing Christmas cards for the residents of local care home. We wanted them to know that we are thinking of them this festive season!
Today, in Year 6 we have been discussing emotions and colours. We listened to The Colour Monster story, discussed the range of colours used to represent different feelings then created our own Mood Monsters to express different emotions.
This morning we started the day with ‘Breakfast with a Book’. We shared stories, had some toast, a glass of milk and did a class bingo to find out what people got up to during lockdown.
Lucy and Lennon found 2 elves this morning! Herbert and Snuggles x
