Year 1 created their own poppies using a variety of materials. They learned all about Remembrance Day and enjoyed watching our Year 6 children in our special Remembrance Day assembly.

It’s been a busy summer as we moved house, explored the new area and found a bountiful, blackberry bush nearby. They loved making smoothies and ice lollies to enjoy in the heat!
On Monday Maggie and Marcie went to Turkey with their dad, his partner and little sister Libby. They are having a great time and mam misses them millions!

Year 1 received some beautiful hand made flowers from our Year 5 pupils who had written kind, positive, messages to us as part of their work in PSHE. It really brightened our day reading some of the inspirational things they had written for us. Thank you so much Year 5 😊
Year 1 went on a trip to the Open Zone to take part in some computing activities.
We used animations with Scratch Jr and robotics with Wedo.
We learnt how to follow visual instructions to build a model, predict functions of the programming blocks, sequence a series of commands and so much more! It was such a fun day!
