In RE, Reception are looking at the different features of a church. We made our own stained glass windows for our classroom.
Reception had a fabulous day with their friends from St Oswald’s and a visit from Discovery Zoo. We held a snake … a lizard and tortoise and lots more. Thanks to our parents for making us all look so amazing in our animal outfits!
This week in Reception we shared the story of the Bog Baby. We listened carefully to the description of the Bog Baby and used this information to make our own using a range of resources.

As part of our topic ‘Marvellous Machines’ we have been looking at emergency vehicles. Reception were so lucky to have the Police come to visit us and talk about the different emergency services.
As part of Reception’s topic ‘Marvellous Machines’ we have been using different resources to create machines. We then used a machine (iPad) to create Jackson Pollock inspired pictures.
