In Reception we have been using our maths vocabulary for measures.
Find a friend who is taller than you, has smaller feet than you, has bigger hands, has shorter hair, a fatter thumb or longer arms!

Our Year 6 and Reception pupils got to have a lovely picnic at the park with their buddies. They played games with each other and had the loveliest time!
Reception had lots of number practice playing Bingo to celebrate National Bingo Day!

In Forest school Reception are investigating which foods mini beasts prefer. The children predicted which food they thought different mini beasts would like best and why. We left our little snack trays next to the amazing Bug Hotels made by Year 5.
Reception have definitely got the ‘mini-beast’ bug.

As part of our topic ‘Creep, Crawl and Wriggle’ 🐛 the children have been on their own mini beast hunts. 🐞 Evelyn has written about the bug hotel she made with her Granny, Isla made her own list and went hunting in the 🪱 garden and Amalie did some mini beast spotting whilst out on a bike ride. 🦋
