Year Five had the privilege of engineer, parent and school governor, Craig Wilkinson, coming in to take part in our pneumatics lesson on Friday. After talking to the class about pneumatics and his journey from engineer to being in charge of engineering at Teeside Technical College he spent time showing the children some pneumatic systems that he had brought with him for a “ hands on” experience.
Craig launched our Pneumatics Competition and listened to ideas the children had thought of, offering advice and encouragement along the way. The children will be building their projects on Thursday 22nd and Craig and Mrs Smith will be choosing 3 winners after half term.
