Today the children of Bede Burn took partin our second SHINE ‘Wear it Yellow’ day to raise funds for the charity SHINE. Grace, in year two, has Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus which the charity raises money to aid research and treatments. As this week is the national awareness week for the two conditions we asked the children to wear something bright yellow (being the charity’s colour) and bring a small donation for the privilege of not wearing their uniform.
A massive thank you to all of the children and their families who supported this cause and helped Bede Burn to raise £242 today! An excellent effort!
Check out the pictures of the children working and playing in bright yellow…
