It is time for my favourite house competition of the year!
The entries in the past have been amazing, and I am sure that this year will be no exception.
So get a pumpkin and take some time as a family to create a masterpiece, remember, this is a whole family effort – don’t let the children wield sharp knives unsupervised!
There will be prizes for all entries, with special prizes for the top three pumpkins in each class. House points will be awarded and the coveted house trophy will be presented!
Pumpkins need to be brought in on FRIDAY 23rd OCTOBER and must be TAKEN HOME AT THE END OF THE DAY (Mr Mckeown made me put that part in!)
Good luck every one, if you need some inspiration, check out last year’s gallery here.
Over the weekend I found these beauties... High expectations..!
Does the pumpkin have to be carved or can u just use fabric and paint and stuff
❓❓❓
As long as there is a pumpkin involved there are no other rules…
Have fun!
Hope all staff and pupils have a fun “Pumpkin/Under the Sea” day tomorrow.
We had one very excited child heading to bed this evening, following an “Awesome” (seems to be her word of the month) Halloween Disco tonight, then completing her Pumpkin competition entry and chatting excitedly about her Under the Sea lunch expectations tomorrow.
Enjoy a fun filled last day of term everyone.
