Jessica created a fantastic acrostic poem about sea rescues and her mam tweeted it to the RNLI who loved it! Great work Jessica.

Y2 – Lockdown – Ivy has been ill but we are so pleased she is better – 31.3.2020

31st March 2020Helen Smith

Ivy has baked lots, including scones and cupcakes.
Her shirt and card were doorstep delivered by Jessica Robertson to help cheer her up.
Because Ivy hasn’t had enough energy to do full online workouts these last few days, she’s been doing yoga, to help keep her muscles working without exhausting her.

Y2 – Lockdown – Sophia has been busy – 27.3.2020

27th March 2020Helen Smith
Afternoon here’s some of Sophia’s activities .
Thankfully Mammy hasn’t been called into work on her rota yet , she works in a school too ! Daddy has to work as his jobs really important .
Last night we clapped for the Carers & NHS , we live in Monkton right next to school ( video attached )
This morning I helped wash mammy’s car , but her tyre is flat ! She needs her tyre fixed In case she has to go into school for her students . ( photo attached )
Yesterday we went for a walk around Bedes well , it’s very sad to see the well all damaged . Maybe our school can help to clean it all up when we come back ( photos attached)
Hope everyone keeps safe

Y2 – Lockdown – Aubree has been busy sewing to make a difference – 24.3.2020

24th March 2020Helen Smith

Today mam’s work closed for up to 12 weeks, and as we have a few friends who work in the care sector we have been making cloth face masks for vulnerable adults (and children). Whilst we appreciate these won’t protect as well as clinical masks, they will offer some protection and some is better than none I’m sure you can agree.
Aubree has helped measure, cut out and sew the fabric together, her ability on the machine is growing and I’m excited to see what she will be capable of creating as an adult!
