Year 4 added times to their daily routine, using du matin, de l’après-midi and du soir to confirm morning afternoon or evening.

In French, year 4 have been learning to ask what time it is and to tell someone the time.

In Year 4 , we celebrated World Composer Day by creating our own winter musical sequences using sound symbols. Also, we researched and discovered interesting facts about Ludwig Van Beethoven.

During our Year 4 Geography lesson, we worked in groups to create a presentation discussing how rivers change our landscape. The children discussed the three physical processes: erosion, transportation and deposition.
Year 4 enjoyed some time in the snow this week!


Year Four had a fabulous time at their Christmas Party! There was lots of dancing, karaoke and games!

Year Four had a fantastic morning at St Oswald’s on Tuesday. We watched a Christmas movie, took part in some festive activities and even had time for a few treats! It was lovely to spend time with our penpals 🎄🧑🎄

Mrs Smith had the absolute privilege of accompanying Bede Burn school choir to the annual Carol service at Jarrow Cemetery!! The children sang beautifully and were a real credit to Bede Burn! Thank you so much to the choir and their parents for coming along on a Saturday! It was a real festive treat despite the rain ️ and the children carried on regardless!
