Year 5 had a fabulous day at the Centre for Life! We explored several exciting areas of the museum, starting with the brand-new Lightbox area. In the WOW Zone, we had a chance to get hands-on with pulleys – a perfect flashback to our Forces and Mechanisms topic from earlier in the year. We showed off our impressive space knowledge too! ‍

The main focus of the day was a science workshop, packed full of exciting experiments focusing on our current science topic, Properties and Changes of Materials. ‍
