Through our all around the world topic we have been learning about Africa. We found lots of African tribes wear African necklaces so we decided to make our own. We used lots of bright colours and patterns to make them look like real African necklaces. They turned out fantastic!

We also read that some African tribes may rank themselves by who can jump the highest, so the most important person in the tribe maybe the person who could jump the highest. We had to try this to see who would be the most important person in our Year 2 tribe.. it was Esme!
