In art, year 6 have been learning about Inuit art carvings, particularly soapstone sculptures which play a prominent part in Inuit culture, often depicting animals. These carvings have been an Inuit tradition for thousands of years. Year 6 tried to replicate Inuit carvings by carving animals out of bars of soap.
