Healthy Packed Lunch
Please ensure that the meal is in a packed lunch box that is clearly labelled with your child’s name and class.
Bede Burn Primary School currently holds the national ‘Healthy School Standard’ award which requires that the school promotes healthy lifestyles. To comply with this and ensure that all packed lunches eaten in school are healthy and nutritious, packed lunches eaten in school should not include fizzy or sugary drinks, chocolate, sweets or crisps (see guidance sheet for quality choices for packed lunches.) This will reinforce the healthy eating messages taught in the school and help promote good dental health.

If your child would like to be on packed lunch, please let us know using Weduc.
The school cannot take responsibility for the lunch boxes in school.
No glass should be sent in to school.
Children must take home all foods not eaten in school.
